The view goes to the northwest from a point above Acharavi on the northern end of Corfu.

It's the same coastal strip like above, only from higher up. The islands are Erikousa, Othonoi, and the tip of Mathraki.

From a rocky beach in Sidari we see the mountainous Albanian shore. And the blue sea.

The plants high over Cape Drastis on the northwestern tip of Corfu make a good contrast to the trampled-on foreground.

It's only called new, because there is still an older one.

A canal separates the Old Fortress from the island as an obstacle for attackers.

A few old guns are on display in the premisses of the Old Fortress.

Frederick North, the 5th Earl of Guilford, founded a university on Corfu.

Built on a rock, it governs the waters of Kerkyra, which is the Greek name of the island.

An old church in the ruined village, which is now becoming a tourist attraction.
