The Leaning Tower of Pisa
Famous for the dangerous-looking tilt, which doesn't always improve a photograph's look.
Campo Santo
Camposanto Monumentale or Camposanto Vecchio is a cemetery, built in the 11th century besides the Cathedral.
Cathedral at night
It's almost impossible to make a good photograph during daytime. To rid yourself of the touristic hordes you need to come back at night and use a long exposure time.

Cittadella Nuova
Built in the 15th century.
From Ponte della Vittoria
The fortress Cittadella Nuova is on the left. The background is made up by the Apuan Alps, good for some hiking and a target on my list.
